The Executive Chairman of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr Grace Adagba, has issued a marching order to the contractors handling all projects to ensure completion before the commencement of the raining season.
Dr Adagba issued the marching order Tuesday during her visit to RCM Primary School, Ihugh in Vandeikya Local Government Area on an inspection tour to assess ongoing projects and evaluate the school for possible expansion.
She stressed the need for quality and timely delivery of projects in line with Governor Hyacinth Alia ‘s commitment to improving learning environments across the State.
In the course of the visit, the Executive Chairman also surveyed available land for the proposed expansion of the UBE Junior Secondary School (JSS) section within the school premises. The proposed expansion is aimed at increasing access to basic education and strengthening the transition from primary to Junior Secondary level in the community.
SUBEB Boss also interacted with the newly employed teachers posted to the school, encouraging them to remain dedicated, hardworking, and professional in the discharge of their duties. She charged all teachers to uphold professionalism, promote unity of purpose, and embrace teamwork to enhance effective service delivery in the education sector.
Responding on behalf of the teaching Staff, the Principal of UBE JSS Ihugh, Mr. Msugh Gbev, and the Head Teacher of RCM Primary School, Ihugh, Mr. Joseph Yachiga, in their separate speeches, appreciated the Executive Chairman for her proactive leadership and assured her of their commitment to supporting the Board’s vision for quality basic education in Benue State.
