The Chairman of the Benue State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Hembadoon Orsar has advised Ene, the widow of the late Financial Secretary of the association, Patrick Omora, to take the sudden demise of her husband as the will of God.
Orsar gave the advice when she led EXCO members of the SWAN on a condolence visit to the family on Thursday. She noted that, “there is a time to be born in this world and there is also a time to die and leave this world so there is no amount of crying that can bring your husband back to life and it is only God who can console you”.
The SWAN Chairman said she was aware of how loving and caring the late Omora was to the wife and even as he was now resting in the Lord, she was also of the belief that God would always be there to do everything for her as the husband to all the widows, said, “for God to have taken your husband away from you at this time when you needed him most, He had a reason for it and for whatever reason which you do not need to question God for, you just have to pray to Him, to give you not only the peace, strength and to secure you but to also pray to Him for your late husband to be in God’s hands and also rest in peace”.
She described the late financial secretary of the SWAN as someone who was very committed to whatever responsibilities that were given to him and prayed to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Responding, the wife of the late Patrick Omora, Ene Omora who narrated how she saw her late husband leave her to the cold hands of death, thanked the Chairman, Hembadoon Orsar for leading her EXCO members to pay her a condolence visit and prayed God to continue to bless her leadership of the SWAN, to succeed.
