Heinze confirms as Arsenal’s Assistant Coach

Arsenal F.C. has officially confirmed the appointment of Gabriel Heinze as the club’s second assistant coach ahead of the upcoming football season. The Argentine joins manager Mikel Arteta’s backroom staff as preparations continue for another demanding campaign in domestic and European competitions.

The Premier League side announced the appointment as part of efforts to strengthen the club’s technical department. Heinze brings extensive football experience, having built a successful career both as a player and as a coach. Arsenal believe his tactical discipline, leadership qualities, and competitive mentality will further improve the coaching structure around Arteta.

During his playing career, Heinze featured for top European clubs including Manchester United F.C., Real Madrid CF, and Olympique de Marseille. After retirement, he moved into management and coached several clubs in Argentina, where he earned recognition for his intense tactical approach and strong defensive philosophy.

The appointment is viewed as another important step in Arsenal’s preparations for the new season as the club continues to build a competitive squad capable of challenging for major honours.
