Basira will sting Lobi, says Coach Musa 

The Technical Adviser of FC Basira, Aminu Musa has expressed confidence that his team will sting Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi hard, in the Match Day 10 bout of the 2025/26 NNL, on Saturday, at the Lafia City Stadium, Nasarawa State.

Coach Musa told The VoiceSports in a telephone conversation on Friday. He said, “although, football is a sport which you don’t have to give up when playing it because you don’t know what may happen even in the dying minutes, stressing that, everybody is a winner and it is only God that decides who wins. But for me, I am going for a win by the grace of God”.

The former Mighty Jets FC of Jos gaffer who said, even as a coach he had never predicted any match before but for every match that he went out to play, he was confident that he would win, noting that, “football is team work where everybody has to work hard in order to get what they want, which is why I don’t have any secret to tell my players before any encounter but just to tell them to go into the game with a clean and clear mind and God will answer their prayers”. He further said, “football does not know any religion or language so do your best and leave the rest for God”.

Coach Musa disclosed that he had promised himself to work with Basira with an undivided mind and with diligence, knowing that football was not only played in the field but it also entailed trust which they had in him that he would deliver, he also trusted that they would let him do his job with a clear and one mind and would not disappoint them. saying, “Basira supports me one hundred percent and when someone entrusts anything in your care, do it well to the best of your ability and don’t go behind sabotaging it”.

He further reasoned that, “I will not play with any player’s career and I wouldn’t want him to play with mine either. That is why I have always advised players to wait for their time since everybody has his own time and their time will definitely come one day, rather than wanting to leave a club when the handwriting is clearly written on the wall that it is not yet time to leave”
