The Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Training and Development, Force Headquarters Abuja, DIG Ishaku Mohammed, has visited Benue State to assess the security challenges and devise new operational strategies to end the scourge.
The DIG, who is on a two-day working assignment, explained that his visit is on the directives of the Inspector General of Police.
Addressing officers and men at the Senior Officers’ Mess in Makurdi, DIG Ishaku Mohammed revealed that he would tour the state to assess the persistent security situation.
He commended officers and men of the Force for their resilience, commitment, and sacrifice towards crime prevention and for improving public safety in the state.
