One Benue Easter Fiesta 2.0 will be staging a 3-nights of music, culture, and entertainment in Makurdi.
The event is scheduled to hold from 4th to 6th April, 2026 at the JS Tarka Foundation, located opposite IBB Square.
Activities are expected to hold daily from 5:00 p.m. until dawn and will attract free admission for all attendees.
Organisers say the 3-day fiesta aims to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Benue State and provide a platform for local talents and entertainers to showcase their creativity during the Easter festivities.
Music lovers and comedy fans will be treated to performances by several artists, including 6footplus, Cupa Stone, Od Woods, Rapizo, Egyptian Cairo, Lady Kpesh, Romeo14 and Atela. Popular comedian, Pastor Nicodemus is also expected to perform alongside other entertainers.
The event is convened by Mr. Lawrence Kyuka and organised by the One Benue Group, coordinated by Romeo Nyamatsa. According to the organisers, the initiative seeks to promote unity, peace and cultural pride among the people of the state.
Speaking ahead of the festival, the spokesperson, Mr. Terver Aondoakaa, described the fiesta as more than just a celebration. “This Easter, we invite every son and daughter of Benue and friends from near and far to join us in Makurdi,” He said
“One Benue Easter Fiesta 2.0 is more than an event; it is a movement that reinforces our shared identity, showcases our talents, and builds stronger bonds across communities.”
According to the organizers, beyond the stage performances, the event will feature cultural displays, creative exhibitions and networking opportunities designed to highlight the diversity and economic potential of Benue State.
Organisers say the fiesta embodies the message “One People, One Culture, One Benue”. They encouraged residents and visitors to celebrate the state’s collective identity during the Easter season.
