…signs law establishing DASH Akwanga
The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has sworn in the new Auditor General of the State, Mr. Kefas Julius Bala.
He has also signed the law establishing Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, DASH Akwanga and appointed Dr. Abene Esla Ezekiel as the Chief Medical Director.
Governor Sule performed the ceremonies at Government House, Lafia, Wednesday.
The Governor tasked the Auditor General to bring to bear his wealth of experience, exhibit high sense of commitment,accountability and prudence as well as effective auditing of the state spending and resources inline with his administration’s mandate in public accountability.
Emphasising the significance of the new specialist hospital which he said is to bring effective health care services closer to the people, Gov. Sule tasked the new CMD to bring his experience to bear.
The occasion had in attendance the State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau and the Emir of Lafia, HRH Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad (Rtd) and the State Chief Judge among other top government officials.
