NIPOST Praises Benue Links for  Excellent Customer Service

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has  expressed satisfaction with the level of investment in fleet management, operational coordination, and customer-focused services at Benue Links, noting that the company’s growing capacity aligns with NIPOST’s objective of improving last-mile delivery and logistics efficiency.

The Benue State Postal Manager, Mr. Bennett Akabua stated this  on Wednesday when he alongside members of his management team visited the  corporate headquarters of the transport company in Makurdi on an official inspection tour of the company’s haulage and courier services.

Mr Akabua who commended Benue Links for its structured operations, expanding transport network, and commitment to service delivery, describing the company as a reliable logistics partner. He stated that the inspection aimed to evaluate the company’s logistics infrastructure and explore partnership opportunities to improve mail and parcel delivery nationwide. While expressing his personal satisfaction as well as that of the Minister of Communications,  he assured Benue Links of the Postal Service’s commitment to deepening collaboration, which would benefit both parties and the public.

General Manager of Benue Links Nigeria Limited, Comrade Alexander Fanafa, thanked the State Postal Manager and his team for the visit and the trust placed in the company. He went on to provide an overview of Benue Links’ haulage and courier operations, highlighting the company’s steady growth, enhanced fleet capacity, and commitment to delivering modern and efficient logistics solutions.

Comrade Fanafa also thanked the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth  Alia, for the strategic investments made in Benue Links, citing the donation of haulage buses and construction of a state-of-the-art haulage store as key factors in the company’s growth. These investments, he noted, have established Benue Links as a major player in Nigeria’s haulage, courier, and logistics sectors.

In a related development, the Benue State Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Michael Oglegba, also visited  Benue Links Nigeria Limited to review the company’s progress in areas such as online booking and financial performance. The General Manager updated the Commissioner on the company’s progress, highlighting the effective management of the 100 buses donated by the Governor, the acquisition of additional buses, and the launch of an online booking system with multiple payment options.

The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the company’s financial management and strategic investments. He was also given a tour of the company’s facilities, including the workshop, the new haulage store, and other operational units, where he witnessed firsthand the bus maintenance processes and other operations.
