Group disburses relief materials in support of Senator Wadada

Over 100 underprivileged residents in the Loko Area Administrative Council of Nasarawa State have received cash assistance exceeding N1 million from “Agatu United for Wadada 2027,” a political mobilisation movement.

The financial disbursement was announced by the group’s State Coordinator, Mr. God’spower Ede, during a community outreach and political sensitisation drive in Loko in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.

Ede stated that the cash aid aims to lighten the burden on struggling families while building grassroots momentum for Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu’s 2027 governorship bid.

Pointing to Senator Wadada’s maternal Agatu lineage, Ede characterised the gubernatorial project as a collective cause for the Agatu people and urged residents to support all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates while utilising the funds judiciously.

Hon. Shuaibu Umar Loko, Administrator of the Loko Area Administrative Council, alongside Mrs. Aisha Isa Idoma, Secretary of the Nasarawa Local Government Council, commended the organisation’s outreach efforts.

They encouraged the Agatu electorate to back Senator Wadada’s campaign to guarantee increased government presence and infrastructural growth in their domain.

On his part, the Chairman of the Agatu Cultural and Development Association (Nasarawa LGA), Mr. James Amedu, Special Assistant to Senator Wadada, Hon. Solomon Daniel, Hon. Usman Musa Ogba, and Hajiya Maryam Otache described the outreach as a landmark gathering for the Agatu community.

To sustain local engagement, the group inaugurated ward executive teams and women leaders across three electoral divisions: Loko, Guto/Aisa, and Tunga/Bakono.

Ahead of the public exercise, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Emir of Loko, Alh. Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, to obtain royal blessings for their mission.
