Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has officially left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The registration ceremony took place on recently at the T.Y Danjuma House in Jalingo, marking a significant shift in the state’s political landscape.
Governor Kefas is the first Taraba governor to defect from the PDP since 1999, making his move a notable one.
He stated that a public ceremony for his defection would be scheduled soon.
The governor’s decision to join the APC is aimed at aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and attracting development to Taraba State.
He was registered by Taraba state APC executives, including the Deputy Chairman, Wukari LGA APC executives, and Hospital ward executives.
