A senatorial aspirant for Taraba North, Mallam Kabiru Bello Bandaware, has picked the All Progressives Congress, APC, nomination form to contest the senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking in Jalingo shortly after obtaining his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at the APC State Secretariat, Bandaware assured the people of Taraba North of quality representation, an open-door policy, and inclusiveness if elected to the Red Chamber.
The aspirant said he would serve his constituents “with the fear of the Almighty and to the best of his knowledge” if given the mandate. He listed security, youth empowerment, and job creation as the core priorities of his legislative agenda.
Addressing his supporters drawn from the six local government areas that make up the senatorial district, Bandaware pledged not to disappoint them. “I will accept responsibility and run a transparent, people-oriented representation,” he stated.
He called on the people of the zone to support his senatorial bid in 2027, and also to vote for Governor Agbu Kefas, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all APC candidates in the general elections.
On zoning, Mallam Bandaware appealed to political stakeholders within Taraba North to consider the internal zoning arrangement and cede the next senatorial seat to his area in 2027.
Bandaware said his decision to join the race was driven by the need to deliver effective legislation and attract meaningful development to Taraba North.
