The Deputy Governor of Benue State, Barr. Sam Ode has released a heartfelt message to the good people of Benue and Nigeria, extending warm greetings and wishing them a happy new year.
In a statement on new year day through his Press Secretary, Ior Kyereve, the Deputy Governor encouraged citizens to reaffirm their faith in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which is driving transformative reforms aimed at improving the living standards of Nigerians.
According to the statement, Dr Ode expressed confidence in the leadership of the Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, who is working diligently to develop Benue State into a model of growth, security, and sustainable development, guided by the seven priority Pillars outlined in “A Strategic Development Plan for a Greater Benue”.
The Pillars, covering areas such as security, agriculture, infrastructure, human capital and social development, commerce and industry, economic empowerment, and ICT, serve as the blueprint for making tangible progress in the lives of citizens.
The statement urged citizens to place their trust in God, who has always been their guiding light and source of strength, and to remain united, resilient, and hopeful in the face of challenges.
“May this New Year bring you joy, good health, and the fulfillment of your aspirations. Let us walk together in faith, hope, and love, trusting in the evolving human-centric and community-focused reforms in the state,” the message read.
The Deputy Governor wished all Benue people a happy new year and prayed that God bless Benue State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
