‎The visit, which took place at the newspaper’s office complex on Wednesday, formed part of the students’ academic training and aimed to expose them to the real-life process of newspaper production and design.

‎ The students were received by editorial and production staff, who conducted them around the facility and explained the stages involved in preparing a newspaper for publication.

‎Speaking during the visit, the Editor of The Voice Newspaper, Mr. Solomon Ayado, explained that desktop publishing involves the use of computers and specialized software to design and create documents, images, and graphics for print or digital distribution.

‎The students also visited different units of the organization, including the editorial, design, and printing sections, where they observed how news stories are edited, proofread, and arranged before final production. They were given the opportunity to ask questions and interact with professionals in the field, which helped deepen their understanding of modern media operations.

‎The Head of Online, Mr. Sunday Iduh, while addressing the students on online publishing, highlighted timelines as a key feature of online publishing. He also encouraged the students to take the experience seriously and apply the knowledge they have acquired in their academic and professional pursuits.
