Nigeria’s Super Eagles have advanced to the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations, defeating Algeria 2-0 in their quarter-final match at the Grand Stade de Marrakech. The winning goals came from Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams in the second half, securing a comfortable victory for Nigeria.

The first half saw Nigeria dominating possession and creating scoring opportunities, but Algeria’s defense held strong. However, the Super Eagles broke through in the 47th minute when Osimhen headed home a cross from Bruno Onyemaechi. Osimhen’s goal marked his continued strong form in the tournament.

Ten minutes later, Nigeria doubled their lead with Adams scoring after an assist from Osimhen. Algeria attempted to respond, but Nigeria’s defense remained solid, with goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali rarely tested.
