“Vote APC from top to bottom “- Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has urged the electorate of Nasarawa State to deliver an undivided mandate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across all elective positions in the upcoming polls.

The President made the appeal at a rally while delivering the central mandate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to an unprecedented crowd in Lafia on Wednesday.
President Tinubu represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima said “The biggest message from the leader of the country is: APC from top to bottom, APC from bottom to top” .

Reaffirming the party’s stance against selective voting, he added, “We do not want a situation where they say vote for the president and not the governor, or vote for the governor and not the president, or the senator, or the House of Assembly. We want APC straight! APC straight!”

Addressing the crowd that braved long routes and detours across Makurdi road and Shendam road, the Vice President expressed deep gratitude for the public’s resilience and commitment.

”My heart is filled with gratitude to everyone, particularly for the support you showed us and our party. The people of Hausa have shown us immense support; there is no document for it. Truly, you have cleared all hurdles for our movement ahead of the Nasarawa State elections, from the grassroots level,” he said.

He further reassured citizens on infrastructure and security, promising that victory at the polls would bring maximum safety and continued development to routing areas across the state.

Echoing the call for solidarity, the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, highlighted the party’s widespread footprint across the state from Akwanga to Jos, and Keffi to Nasarawa Toto.

Outlining the party’s electoral timeline heading into 2027, the National Chairman reaffirmed the party’s backing for key candidates, including Senator Ahmed Wadada.

”With him, with his assistant, Senator Kashim, we will defeat them. If we reach 16th of January, 2027, we will repeat it. The president of the country, our father, our party, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he will repeat it to him. And if we reach February, we will return,” National Chairman stated.

Speaking on behalf of the progressive governors across the country, Senator Hope Uzodinma brought greetings from the Progressive Governors Forum, emphasising unity and continuity.

”We have come to Nasarawa State, we have seen the developments in Nasarawa State. We have seen that the renewed hope, the hope of Nasarawa State is renewed,” Uzodinma declared to cheering crowds.
