The management of Lobi Stars Football Club Thursday, paid a condolence visit to the Director General of Radio Benue, Dr Terseer Mzuulga, over the death of their valuable staff, Patrick Omora, who passed away on April 1, 2026, after a brief illness.
The club delegation, led by the Director of Media and Communication, Emmanuel Uja, expressed shock over the death of Patrick Omora, who was committed to in-depth reportage of all the club’s events. “Sadly, the club’s last home league match was one of the last events he covered”. He acknowledged the supremacy and the unquestionable nature of God and, at the same time, the inevitability of death, noting that the only thing left for the living is to pray for his soul to rest in perfect peace.
Mr Uja, on behalf of the players, management, and staff of the club, urged Radio Benue and the family of the deceased to take solace in God at this trying moment, as He remains the only giver of the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Responding, the Director General said, Patrick had no known health challenge, as his death came to the entire organisation as a rude shock. He noted that the deceased was a very essential staff member and would be greatly missed.
