The Technical Adviser of Kebbi United FC of Birnin Kebbi, Danladi Ibrahim believes with certitude that his team will grind into a meal the Adamawa United FC of Yola on Friday, at the FIFA Gold Project Mini Stadium, in Birnin Kebbi.
Coach Ibrahim stated this in a telephone conversation with The VoiceSports last Thursday, ahead of his team’s combat against the Yola based side, on the Match Day 12 of the 2025/26 NNL, believing that his lads would climb over the shoulders of the Umaru Fintiri Boys and spike the ball in the end zone. He said, “my players are well prepared for the match and I am certain we will take the day”.
“I have advised my players to put all the matches that they have already played behind them and focus on the Adamawa United FC match which we are believing in God, we will knock them down”. He further disclosed that, “it is the same attitude and confidence which the players have been putting in their matches that they will also put in this Friday, to clinch the maximum three points against the Adamawa United after 90 minutes of regulation time”.
The former Head Coach of Babanawa FC of Anyigba in Kogi State, while describing the delay in releasing the three points which they garnered after puncturing the Yobe Desert Stars 1-0 on the Match Day 9 2025/26 NNL cracker in Birnin Kebbi as unfortunate, he explained that, “we defeated the Yobe Desert Stars at home but because they filed a protest against us, our three points have since been withheld. Although, we have also appealed against the protest, we are now waiting for the outcome of the result”.
The Technical Adviser appealed to the fans to continue to be patient with the team and support them as they have been doing, assuring them that the team would come back in full swing.
