The National Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Senator Hope Uzodimma has inaugurated Zonal and Local Government Areas Coordinators in Nasarawa State to promote the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Senator Uzodimma who is the governor of Imo State performed the inauguration during a solidarity rally in honour of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule in Lafia on Thursday.
He charged the coordinators to educate the people on the benefits of the president’s policies including reduced food prices and increased foreign reserves.
According to him, training and deploying Renewed Hope Ambassadors to spread the message across the country, with a goal of increasing the number of ambassadors from 20 to 50 per polling unit.
Senator Uzodimma highlighted the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration, including improved security, economic recovery, and increased foreign reserves.
He urged the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to take the message of the programme to the grassroots, emphasising the need for transparency and showcasing government achievements.
He announced plans to increase the number of ambassadors from 20 to 50 per polling unit.
Also speaking, Senator Umaru Al-Makura, North Central Coordinator of the programme, assured that President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is committed to inclusive leadership and grassroots development.
Al-Makura said Nasarawa State was not only rich in solid minerals but also a hub for the implementation of the agenda.
He highlighted the programme’s focus on engaging Nigerians, promoting prosperity, and encouraging participation from the grassroots level.
Al-Makura expressed confidence that the initiative will attract people from other parties and fast-track development in the state.
On her part, the Minister of Women Affairs, Hon Imam Sulaiman-Ibrahim, praised President Tinubu’s leadership, citing reduced food prices and violence, and pledged the support of women for the Renewed Hope Agenda in 2027.
Earlier, Dr Labaran Magaji, the Nasarawa State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, thanked President Bola Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule for their development initiatives, saying they were making a significant impact on the state and the country.
“It is important to make it very clear that what we are doing today is not a political campaign, neither is it a political rally, but it is a gathering of the people of Nasarawa State from all the nooks and crannies of the state to say a very big thank you to our dear president, President Bola Tinubu, for the good work he has been doing through the reform agenda that he has introduced for the benefit of humanity and Nigerians at large,” Dr Magaji said.
He also expressed gratitude to Governor Sule, saying, “And again, we also say another big thank you to our father, our leader, and our school, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, who is complimenting the good work of Mr President by introducing unprecedented and monumental infrastructural development in Nasarawa State.”
The event featured the inauguration of state, local government, and ward coordinators, who were urged to work together to promote the programme and bring about positive change in the state.
